Banks kick off Q2 earnings season, AT&T reports data breach: Yahoo Finance – Journal Important Web

The second quarter earnings season officially kicks off as Wall Street digests the latest bank earnings from JPMorgan (JPM), Citigroup (C), and Wells Fargo (WFC). The major indexes (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) are rallying despite a hotter-than-expected June Producer Price Index report. Meanwhile, shares of AT&T (T) are slipping after the telecom giant revealed that “nearly all” cell customers’ call and text message records were accessed in a massive data breach in 2022. Shares of Snowflake (SNOW) are also falling as AT&T indicated the third-party cloud provider was targeted.
